One of our favorite Music Meetings of the year takes place at the NON-COMMvention in Philadelphia on Friday, May 18th at WXPN in Philadelphia. In case you don't know how it works, it goes something like this: 

We'll play 10-12 new songs for a packed roomful of radio programmers, consultants, syndicators, record label personnel, independent promoters, WXPN listeners, etc., and everyone gets to rate (1-10) and talk about what they’ve just heard. Most of the conversation is positive because of the nature of this gathering (open-minded music seekers) and the fact that we pick from the best songs available.

If you have great new music that has not yet been sent to radio (and won’t be before mid-May), please send it for consideration. We strongly prefer digital downloads, labeled correctly for iTunes, but will accept physical submissions and streams. Send to both sean@songlinesmusic.com and melanie@songlinesmusic.com. Please designate a focus track, bio information, street date, when and how it will be serviced to radio, etc. Most importantly, please note that your submission is for the Non-Comm Music Meeting so that it doesn’t get lost. We’ll reach out to you if we need more information.

The cutoff date for submissions is May 11th.
